Where can I find cheap digital slr camera’s?
I have been looking for a digital slr camera for a while now and was wondering if there is some where I could find cheap ones.
They need to be in working condition.

For used cameras, Ebay and Craig’s List. But buyer beware. Make sure the seller has a solid reputation and beware auctions with no other bidders or the are closing at prices “too good to be true”. Only pay by Paypal on Ebay and never, ever by money order or Western Union.
First there are no “cheap” digital SLR’s – unless you call $500 and up cheap.
I use a Rebel XS (1000D) and just love it. But, here’s a good place to do some research.

If you are close to Chicago Area, I would suggest you visit the Abt Electronics Store. I make most of my purchases from them as they have cheap deals and an aquarium in the Camera section to facilitate purchase. The colors of fish, weeds and water reflect true colors on the camera screen when you hold the camera against it. If you can not make a visit to the store, heres a link to their website -

There is no such thing as a cheap dSLR if it is new. About 450.00 If you act fast, as the D40 is disappearing quickly, no longer made. You may find a used one a little cheaper…check out craigslist…but beware, lots of crooks lurk there.
