well it took great pictures when i had it, & in the rite light professional looking photos

well the main things are not paying for film & getting instant gratification after you take a picture, your only limited to the space on your memory card

Dude, you got RIPPED OFF. PrestigeCamera has the same package for $409. Add on an extended 5 year warranty and you’re still only at $530. Return your stuff and buy it at a good price.
lol yeah. i don’t like the live view. just ruins half the reason of what and SLR camera is. i mean. how weird are u gonna look taking a picture like a point and shoot would with an SLR lol. u look way more pro looking through the viewfinder. and looking through the view finder will give u a better feel and taste of the picture, than the screen.

Amen brother, no seriously Nikon makes some of the best stuff on the market, I went with olympus because of what I could get for the money (I was going to get a Nikon D-300, but they are expensive)
but the canon XSi costs more for only the camera body and one lens
I just bought one too, same thing that you got only it came with a 2gb CF card and an olympus bag (plus the camera body and the two lens that you got). I bought mine from B and H photo for only $682 because the E-520 is comming out soon. I would recommend that you get a CF card because they write faster than an XD card.
I wasn’t really talking about the kit lenses for Olympus, although they are much sharper than Canon kit lenses. The Nikon crop factor is actually 1.5x, not 1.3x. Clearly you are a Canon “fanboy” and nothing will change your mind, so instead of getting into an argument which you know nothing about, enjoy your Canon and leave us alone.
you know what’s funny, i bought this camera over a cannon because of the live view, but i never use the live view feature, just because it’s too slow, my next camera will be a canon!
