Do you know of a digital slr camera that can attach old lens from non digital slr camera?
I know generally the camera has to be of the same brand; ie. Canon lens for a Canon camera. I was just wondering does anybody know of a digital slr camera that can do this.
If not, maybe you can tell me which camera you have and if it is good or not.
Thanks alot.

All Pentax DSLRs can use any pentax lens EVER made.
Also the IS thing the guy below mentioned. However, keep in mind that old Pentax lenses were made for 35mm SLRs, the equivalent to full frame cameras today. Pentax doesn’t have full frame cameras yet, so images’ll be cropped.
Just to add to the above answer that they will all be antishake as well as its built into the camera not the lens.
I have used Pentax cameras for over 40 years, and yes they are very good, by far the best system you can buy into.

I can use the Canon EF lenses from my A2E on my Rebel XTi.
It’s usual that film SLR lenses work with digital SLRs, but some digital lenses aren’t backwards-compatible.
This might help a little: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenses_for_SLR_and_DSLR_cameras#Mount_compatibility_across_camera_generations
Add Nikon to your list. Their older lenses from 35mm film cameras will fit.
However, the caveat for most of these lenses is that they often lose some functionality due to newer technology in the new lenses.
For instance, with the Nikon lenses, you will have to manually focus the lenses, and in many cases, you won’t have the normal autoexposure modes available and will have to use the Av (Aperture Priority mode) or M(manual setting) setting on your camera.
I would go to the manufacturer’s website and look for a FAQ on the topic, or contact them and ask which older lenses are compatible.
