Digital SLR camera, can i use my Sigma autofocus lenses?
I have the following 2 Sigma lenses, Both were used with my old 35mm Minolta 7000 SLR camera:
1. Sigma AF zoom 28-70
2. Sigma AF zoom 70-210
Is there any way I might be able to use them with a modern Digital SLR camera?

They will fit any Sony modern DSLR as Sony took over Minolta’s camera division and kept the lens mount. Remember, however, that they will have approx a 1.5 – 1.6 increase in focal length – so your 28-70 becomes (approx) 44-105 and the 70-210 105-305 (approx)
Yes, as stated you can use those lenses on a Sony alpha DSLR. And because the sensor in the DSLR is smaller than the film in an SLR, the 28-70 won’t really have a wide angle anymore. But that isn’t any big deal. If you buy a kit, it will come with the 18-55mm and that will cover your wide angle. And you would also have quite a range.
I also recommend the Minolta Maxxum 50mm f/1.7 or the Sony 50mm f/1.8 which makes a great lens for portraits and street photography and just anything in general.
Here is a site that you will probably find helpful when looking to buy a lens or other accessory:
